Solvay Specialty Polymers Inc. has announced that its Brazilian Solviva biomaterials production line has officially entered the commercial stage of mass production . It is the first time the company set up bio-based materials production line in Brazil. To further expand the field of Solvay in the global medical polymers market share, the company had been in the United States , Europe and China to establish a biological thermoplastic resin production base.

        "Establishment of a new production line in favor of local companies and other multinationals in Brazil to provide better service in the medical device products ." Solvay Specialty Polymers spokesman said in an interview with reporters .

        Solviva production line is mainly responsible for the production Zeniva brand PEEK ( polyether ether copper ), Proniva reinforced polyphenylene , Veriva licensing and Eviva card PSF ( polysulfone ) thermoplastic biomaterials . Among them, Solvay Zeniva brand PEEK resin due to the elastic modulus is very close to the bone , fatigue superior performance characteristics with a wide range of applications in cervical interbody fusion production.

        Solvay Solviva production plant is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil , is the company's second plant in Shanghai, China after the establishment of the developing countries in the thermoplastic biomaterials production line.
